Hand painted tiles
There's a lot to tell about our motifs
Most of the motifs in our range are hand painted, therefore it is possible to customize the size and composition. The standard colours are delft blue, manganese or multicoloured. If necessary we can adjust the colours.
Hand paintings
After the tiles have been heated for the first time, they are covered with glaze. As soon as the glaze has dried in the air, the tiles are painted by the painter and fired in the oven one last time, paint and glaze will melt together.
By this technique the tableau is fixed forever and can no longer be removed from the tile.
Your own photo, drawing or painting on tiles
You can also have your own photo, drawing or painting painted on Dutch white tiles. Curious what the costs are? We will be happy to make you an offer with your picture.
Please send us the following by e-mail:
*one or more pictures with any adjustments you want to make
* the number of tiles you want the picture on (the whites are approx. 13x13cm)
*the color that the image should get, for example blue, manganese or multicolored.
The delivery time is about 8 weeks.
Printed tiles via a ceramic transfer
Sometimes we receive photos or drawings from clients that are very complex and therefore difficult to paint. A solution has been found for this, because nowadays it is possible to print the tiles.
Cheaper than hand painted
This is cheaper than a hand-painted motif. There is also a difference in appearance, see below a few examples of painted and printed. We will be happy to make you an offer for printing Frisian whites with your image.
